What We Participate In

SMorris Travels participates in credit card referral programs and travel-related affiliate programs. The programs we work with are ones we were already writing about — cards we use, booking tools we’ve tested, travel resources we actually recommend. We don’t build content around affiliate opportunities. We find the affiliate for content we were already going to produce.

What It Doesn’t Change

A commission doesn’t make something worth recommending. If a card isn’t right for your spending profile, we’ll say so. If a hotel program has deteriorated, we’ll say that too. The affiliate relationship follows the recommendation — it doesn’t drive it. Every review, strategy post, and consultancy recommendation is grounded in honest assessment of your specific situation.

Consultancy Disclosure

If Jeremy recommends a specific credit card during a paid consultation and SMorris Travels has a referral relationship with that card, you’ll see this language in your written summary or service note:

SMorris Travels may earn a referral commission if you apply for and are approved for credit cards recommended during this consultation. The recommendation is based on your spending patterns and travel goals, not the commission rate.
